Ok, so this post is almost about 4 months overdue but yeah... :p I did a shoot with Olivia Lenehan, Johanna Lunde, April Montgomery and Lupita Iluna back in October last year. It was the first time working with a stylist, and I have to say April did a great job. It was also the first time working with Johanna, I've worked with her once more since then, and she never fails to do such a great job!

The shoot started out shaky though. It was actually supposed to be a grease themed shoot with two models, located at Luna Park. However, on the day itself, only Olivia showed up. The other model (let's call her S) did not. It was so annoying! Nothing worse than someone not turning up. I called her a bunch of times but she did not pick up, texted her, dropped her a message on facebook... but still, nada. It's bad enough that you're not going to turn up, at least message the team so we don't just sit around waiting for you.

Anyway. I thought that was bad, but after rocking up to the location, it turns out that we need permission from the park manager to shoot at Luna. It was odd because I did email them, and someone replied saying it was fine to shoot as long as we didn't have large equipment yada yada yada, but in the end weren't allowed to shoot there because according to the park manager, Luna park needs to provide us an escort for all photoshoots and none of their employees could spare time for us that day. Wait, there's more, our stylist was caught in a traffic jam due to a car accident on the freeway and couldn't make it on time. But thankfully, we just went ahead shooting with a dress that I brought and mixing up the outfit Olivia was already wearing while waiting for April.

So that was that shoot! All that aside, I still really did enjoy myself! It was my first shoot with Harriet. Thank god the rest of the team was so amazing and made the shoot so effortless, despite all the setbacks :)
