Another one for the books! In case you didn't know, my documentary got selected for the Best of Media Program 2012. It's a huge achievement for my team because one, getting selected for a best of anything is awesome. Two, it was one of the only two that was selected from the entire cohort. Three, it was showcased at ACMI. And four, the majority of my team consists of Prof. Commers. Only Lulu is in the Media degree. There's just this sense of happiness I get from knowing that. We put our hearts and souls into this project, and I couldn't be more thankful to the world for letting me experience the joy of "working" for a cause, not to mention, with teammates whom I love (seriously guys, best group dynamic EVER). We met so many great, genuine and kind hearted people, helped pushed a tram (yes, us 4 girls pushed a tram that weighs the equivalent of 30 rhinos) that broke down so that we can get back home, was constantly surrounded with happy faces (majority of the time anyway) and the sound of children laughing and so. much. more. The entire experience was just breathtaking and I couldn't have asked for a better semester to end my academic career with. So anyway, here are the pictures from the day our film was showcased.
