A relaxing (albiet freezing) day fishing. All of us didn't dress for the occasion but we enjoyed it to bits anyway. Our hands shook as we reeled fishes in, but the joy of catching the fish just made it all worth it. Who knew that such a simple thing like catching a fish could make one feel so happy? After we were done for the day, I brought the fish for cleaning and filleting, while the rest went to set up the fire for the barb and Roky continued to fish. Forever passed (okay, it was 40 minutes but it felt like forever!), I had a seemingly long conversation with the man who was cleaning the fish (...strange, how we didn't exchange names... mmm), my blue lips were making movements that looked like I was telling him that it was so cold. I didn't understand how he can have both hands in water, then have them stable enough to handle an extremely sharp knife (to debone and fillet). He said it wasn't cold. It'll only be cold when the snow is this deep, he showed me with his hands (roughly 30 inches). On a normal day I'd carry on the conversation, not really willing to let anything come in the way of a conversation I'm holding with a man with such an interesting profession. Not that day though. I gave him a blank expression, then laughed... not because it was particularly funny, but because by then my brain was just an icicle floating about in my skull and that was the only reaction that came to my mind.
