special

We woke up in the morning (already a major improvement on most of our parts) and took a cab down to Williamstown. Not too far out of the city, but far enough. It was good weather when we reached. The sun was nice and, for lack of better term, diffused. I've only experienced this kind of sun in Australia.

Happy smiles :) This is the reason why I love taking photos. Captures every moment. Speaking of moments. We went to Williamstown for fresh oysters and prawns, and usually they'd provide soy sauce but for some reason they stopped. I was frantically looking around for sauce. Xings suggested we go to the closest restaurant to ask for sauce. That so happened to be the Pelican Landing Restaurant...

The conversation went something like this:

"Hi do you happen to have some sauce I could buy off you?"

"Huh?"

"Sauce! For dipping?"

"Huh???????"

I honestly don't think that my request was that weird, but anyway... in the end the guy at the front desk brought us in to see the chef and I told him I had 2kilos worth of prawns out the front but nothing to dip  them in. He ruffled up some stuff in the kitchen with this tub of sauce (yollie, I think it was called?).
It looked good, and he didn't charge us for it so Xings and I happily left. Turns out its the most amazing sauce I've ever had in my lifeeeeee. SO taking the 45minute ferry ride back to ask him for more! I love days like this!
