faded dream

[Dreamland, Bali]

It was the only moment, just before the sun went down, where the beach was quiet. You could hear the sea. This was how I remembered dreamland. The beach that only the locals knew about. You'd have to get a balinese to drive you there because there was no address to key into your GPS... It's made a name for itself now though. Glammed up with food stalls, mini clothing shops, bathrooms and of course, touters at the beach. I think its time to take it off my favourite beaches list. The waves were big, Eli and I almost drowned. Twice. But it was only when we saw a snake in the water that we decided to get out.

It's already 8 o' clock! Going to start getting ready for a late valentine's day dinner with Rok.
Happy Valentine's day!
