Stayed at Hotel Majestic, which I personally find has the best Canh Chua Ca (Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Pineapple soup)! Visited the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and did some shopping for Vietnam's famous oil/acrylic/eggshell paintings! Oh we visited Ben Thanh Market too! Fun fact: Never accept plastic bags from the shop owners at the market, because the colour you get shows other shop owners if you're a hard bargainer or a big softie! All of us got black - don't know what that means though. Other than that we just chilled, ate bruschettas (surprisingly the best bruschetta I've had by far! - In vietnam, how weird! haha) and drank vietnamese coffee (delicious as hell). I bought a whole box back to melbourne but the customs didn't allow me to bring it in! Living in Auz sucks that way. x
